📜 Recite together My Nishkam Sewa pledge What it means

The golden gada and folded hands in a sindoor halo

For first-time visitors

What Hanuman Jayanti means

Hanuman Jayanti, in the North Indian reckoning, falls on the full moon of Chaitra. Devotees recite the Hanuman Chalisa, offer sindoor, and serve others in his name.

Hanuman’s Gada (Mace) stands for strength and his folded hands for surrender: power that serves without asking anything back. That is Nishkam Karma Sewa (Selfless Community Contribution). The saints add that true courage comes from inner knowledge of the Self; Hanuman found everything he needed in the name of Shri Ram within his heart.

Meanwhile, the Bhakti lyrics library has verified stotras and aartis with the meaning of every word.
