Little Sadhak

Breathe with the golden lotus

A tiny Dhyan (Meditation) for little ones, part of your daily Sadhna (Daily Meditation Practice). Sit tall like a mountain. When the lotus opens, breathe in slowly through your nose. When it closes, breathe out gently, even more slowly. Your mind settles like water in a still pond.

How long?

4 seconds in, 6 seconds out. If you feel dizzy, stop and breathe normally. This is a calm-down game, not a medical exercise.

Shloka sing-along

Sing a shloka, one sound at a time

Tap a card to hear it, sing along as the cards light up, or let the cards say a little and wait for your turn.

त्वमेव माता च पिता त्वमेवtvameva mātā ca pitā tvameva

त्वमेव बन्धुश्च सखा त्वमेव ।tvameva bandhuśca sakhā tvameva

त्वमेव विद्या द्रविणं त्वमेवtvameva vidyā draviṇaṃ tvameva

त्वमेव सर्वं मम देव देव ॥tvameva sarvaṃ mama deva deva

What it means: You are my mother and my father, my family and my friend, my learning and my treasure. You are my everything, O Lord of lords.

There are no recordings of these verses on this page yet, and no computer voice reads them. The cards light up at a gentle chanting pace so you can chant along: learn the sounds with a grown-up or at your Sunday Junior Sadhaks class. The sound-alike words are only a rough guide.

Colouring & activity sheets

Print, colour and share

Clean line art that prints sharp on any printer (it is drawn with vectors, not pictures). Choose your paper, tick the sheets you like and print them, one sheet per page. Or save a sheet as an SVG file to colour on a tablet.

    Star Passport

Collect stars for every kind thing

Finish a story, breathe with the lotus or sing a shloka to earn a star. Grown-ups can also mark Sunday Junior Sadhaks class and add kind acts to the Junior Sewa Log.

Ask a grown-up to sign in to keep your stars. Until then, stars you earn stay on this device: 0 so far.

Kids Mode and the family PIN

Kids Mode keeps your child inside the Junior Sadhaks pages on this device. Links to other parts of djjs.us (giving, the shop, the Sangat Portal, settings) ask for your 4-digit family PIN, and so does leaving Kids Mode.

Kids Mode is a family convenience lock in the browser, not a security boundary: someone who clears this browser’s data can switch it off. The Junior Sadhaks features never touch payments, giving or admin tools anyway. Your PIN is stored only as a one-way hash; we never keep the PIN itself.

Children never have their own accounts here. Stars and sewa entries are saved in your Sangat account under your child’s first name only (from the Household list on your dashboard); there is no child email, phone or photo.

Sign in to the Sangat Portal to set a family PIN and turn on Kids Mode.
